Hayes is located on the border between the three beautiful counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

The quintessentially English countryside is farmed on a mixed agricultural basis, with fields of wheat adjoining potatoes and pastureland. This patchwork quilt, dotted with small copses, hedges and common-land, is some of the most beautiful countryside in the country.

The area enjoys a rich history, elements of which can be seen in the stunning architecture across the region, including Eastnor Castle near Ledbury and Goodrich Castle near Ross-on-Wye. There is a variety of styles of properties across the region, with a preponderance of Tudor and Georgian properties.

Activities are varied but this area is perhaps best known for its country pursuits including:

Horse racing at Cheltenham, Hereford and Worcester
Polo at Cirencester
Fishing, shooting and Hunting across the region.
Walks across the Malvern Hills and the many footpaths across the region
